NADI on WHEELS (NOW)

The NADI on Wheels (NOW) initiative serves as a mobile vehicle to deliver high-speed connectivity to underserved areas. The NOW vehicles is designed to complement the existing nearby NADI centres network by expanding access to digital services in underserved areas and enable supporting community outreach efforts through mobile engagement activities

Smart Services Programme in Rural Areas
In Sabah, the NADI on Wheels (NOW) initiative adopts a “hit‑and‑run” mobile outreach strategy, enabling efficient engagement with dispersed rural populations. Through this approach, activities were successfully carried out across 18 rural locations statewide.
In Pahang, the Kembara NADI programme adopts a community‑immersion approach, prioritising deeper and more sustained engagement within selected Orang Asli settlements. The programme reached two Orang Asli settlements through close collaboration with JAKOA Pahang, Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan (HTAA), and the Paya Besar Parliamentary Office.

Temporary Evacuation Centres (PPS)
In response to the increasing number of flood-affected locations and the activation of Temporary Evacuation Centres (PPS) in the affected states, the MCMC has taken the initiative to deploy NADI on Wheels (NOW) services to PPS Bukit Setongkol, Pahang, to assist flood victims housed at the centre.
